Well him and the referee who sent off a Madrid player following a piece of play-acting that would shame an amateur dramatic company but still fooled the ref! They hailed Messi as the greatest player ever. He's good but I don't know how to judge one era against another. All I know is that the team that really started the modern game was Hungary in the 1950's. England always fancied themselves as the best team in the world but after a 6-3 drubbing, at Wembley in 1954, I think everyone could see the future of football.
